Boxed.com — Wholesale Club Shopping Without Leaving Home!

Thank you Boxed for sponsoring this post. While this was a sponsored opportunity from Boxed all content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Living in a small(ish) town has its advantages…and disadvantages. This time of year it’s hard to think of the disadvantages when the mountains that surround my high mountain valley are blanketed in beautiful fall colors, but as soon as the snow flies I’ll be keenly aware of some of those cons of small town living. One major one that always comes to mind is the lack of shopping options.

Over the years I have gravitated to a combination of Amazon.com and the Costco brick-and-mortar store to do most of my household shopping. Amazon.com offers me the convenience, while Costco offers me the savings. The drawbacks being I pay a premium for the convenience and I sacrifice convenience for the savings (the nearest Costco to me is a 30 minute drive.) Quite the shopping conundrum.

Recently I was introduced to a service that offers the best of both worlds. Boxed.com combines the convenience of online shopping with the savings of buying in bulk…no membership fee required!

But just as appealing as the savings and convenience is the wide range of products available to meet the needs of my family.

As many of you know, my son Kell has celiacs disease and so we buy a lot of gluten-free products, which aren’t always easy to find. I was thrilled to find how many special-diet (gluten free, dairy free, etc.) snacks and groceries were available through Boxed. While not gluten free, these Clif Kid Bars are great for a snack or to pack in lunch boxes (and are 41% off retail!).

I even discovered a few I hadn’t tried before that are now new family favorites. I have become quite obsessed with this Boom Chicka Pop and Dang Toasted Coconut Chips! Yum!

They also sell a wide range of all-natural and organic products. Although I try to limit the amount of paper towels I use overall, these Seventh Generation Recycled Paper Towels are a good option…and Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day is a good “green” choice for cleaning products.

Before I tried Boxed.com I was already a big believer in buying in bulk….especially those items I know I will always have to restock (ie. toilet paper, trash bags, etc.) While buying at the big box stores does save money, schlepping home those giant packages is not an effective use of my time and gas money. Using Boxed.com I’m saving time, money, AND my sanity! 🙂

I also really like how easy it is to use the Boxed.com website. It’s very clean and has a great search function. There’s even an app for tackling your shopping list when you’re sitting in the carpool pick-up line at school. 🙂

So if you are tired of shopping like this……………

And would like to shop more like this…………

Give Boxed.com a try!
