I spent most of yesterday doing some power Christmas shopping because even though there are a few more weeks before the big day, I’d like to be able to enjoy that time more and stress less. Luckily my nephew Scott is helping us out today with some of the hardest people to buy for on our lists…the guys!

Hey everyone…I’m back for my annual “Gifts for Guys” post. My aunt Jill knows I take this post very seriously and feel the weight of responsibility lying on my shoulders knowing women across the globe will be reading my suggestions. I’m writing this for the moms, sisters, mother-in-laws, wives, fiancées, girlfriends, etc. who are looking for help with DIY gift ideas that they are hoping will be a hit on Christmas morning. I realize every guy is different, but I’m confident that this year’s TOP 10 Recommendations will apply universally!
10 Gift Ideas For Guys
1. Ladder Grabber
The ideal place holder for your ladders. If you’re like me, you lean your ladders up against the wall…. and then they fall on your car (yes that happened to me, thanks to my 3 year old!) Ladder Grabber ends these catastrophes and keeps your garage more organized.
2. Mission Belt
Known as “the belt that changed the belt,” Mission Belt is a genius way of making the belt more functional. Forget about holes and judging your waist size anymore. Check out this short YouTube video I made demonstrating how it works!
Mission Belt will transform your man’s belt game to the next level. Trust me they will love you for it!
3. Car Wash certificates
At my local car wash they have an unlimited monthly pass which is great for busy schedules. You can get your car washed whenever you please and don’t have to worry about the weather ruining it!
4. SoulKix
This brand allows you to put your personality on your footwear. I have about 10 different pairs of these now. You are able to custom design shoes with his favorite team, superhero, significant other… ANYTHING. They just introduced their kids line too, so maybe get the whole family some matching kix!
5. Stance socks
Best socks on the planet. Amen. I can’t get enough of these things. Their ever-increasing catalog and current updates are sure to help you find something special for the man in your life.
6. Music
I have always had a passion for music, and I always will. There’s a lot of debate about which service is better, Spotify v. Apple Music. Whatever the preference, the gift of music is the way to a man’s heart. Whether you get him a subscription to one of these streaming services, buy him a nostalgic vinyl, or even get him an iTunes gift card, you simply can’t go wrong.
7. Sporting event/concert tickets
Very few men I know would refuse tickets to see their favorite sports team play or to attend a concert of their favorite band. If your guy isn’t into sports or live shows, what are some of his other favorite activities or hobbies? Give him the opportunity to do what he loves.
8. Rockwell watches & sunglasses
I love this brand. Some of the best gear, watches, and sunglasses you can find. In fact, my Rockwell sunglasses are the best pair of sunglasses I’ve ever owned. I mean that. Have a look! Use the coupon code SCOTT20 for a 20% discount!
9. Phone chargers
I have a charger for every device in every place in my life. Whether it be the office, home, or in the car, you can never have too many places to re-charge. This is one that I have found is most reliable!
10. His favorite cereal
Yep, you heard me. Boxes of his favorite cereal. Whether it’s Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Reese’s Puffs, Cookie Crisp, Trix, Cocoa Puffs, whatever…he’ll love it. It keeps him young. Or at least young at heart. 😉
BONUS ITEMS
11. Children’s books
Give your man a reason to spend some quality time with the kids. Our kids enjoy reading books, especially when Dad reads them. Here are a few of my favorites:
Lilly Stargazer and the Light in the Jar: My little girl is in love with this one. It teaches kids an extremely valuable lesson that sometimes the things you love most are the things you must set free.
Jillee Bean and the One Good Thing: I’m not just saying this because Jill is my aunt. It is an absolute treasure to read with my kids. The illustrations by Samantha Hollister are amazing and the moral of the story helps kids in spreading goodness. This is one of the best books you can find for children. Trust me.
The Book with No Pictures: This book is hilarious and gets my kids rolling on the floor laughing… and yes, there are no pictures. My kids will randomly quote from the book all the time. B.J. Novak (the author) has cracked the code on making books fun without needing illustrations and let their own creative minds take over.
On a side note, if there are any men out there needing ideas about what to get the special lady in their life, here’s an item that totally won over my lady!
12. Suay towels
You won’t find a better towel. It won the heart of my wife and children immediately, and I’m sure it will do the same with yours. These turkish towels are not only stylish, but better quality than any other that I have seen. Perfect for the beach, travel, or home life.
Good luck ladies! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Sincerely,
Jillee’s “favorite” nephew 😉
