Has your calendar been as jam-packed as mine lately? Between my son Kell’s wedding last month and the debut of the all-new One Good Thing newsletter, I’ve had an especially busy summer!
After a very low-key 2020 (and that’s about the nicest way I can put it), having a busy schedule this summer has been a rather nice change of pace. Getting back out there, whether out of town or out on the town, has helped make time at home more enjoyable, too. You know what they say—everything in moderation!
Throughout this busy summer, Wacoal America has been supporting me—literally—through it all. When I have a thousand things to do, the last thing I need is to be distracted by an uncomfortable bra, and that’s never been the case with the bras I’ve gotten from Wacoal.
With over thirty years in the bra biz, they’ve thought of every possible feature you could want, and the performance and quality are always beyond impressive. They truly have the best bras for every occasion, so today I want to share a bit about the 6 Wacoal bras that have gotten me through everything this busy summer season has thrown my way.
Read on to find out what I love about them and why I’ve been recommending them to almost every woman I know!
The Best Bras For Every Occasion
For Date Night: Wacoal Net Effect Bralette
Who doesn’t want to feel feminine and sexy on date night? That’s exactly how I feel in this bralette, thanks to its plunging front, low back, and patterned lace. I don’t normally go for bralettes because they aren’t exactly known for being supportive, but this one has a 2-inch band for support and provides surprisingly great coverage too.
For Running Errands: Wacoal Elevated Allure Full Figure Underwire Bra
This is a bra I can wear confidently any day of the week no matter what’s on my schedule. The lattice pattern on the fabric adds a nice, feminine touch, and it offers full coverage and a comfortable stretchy fit. This is one of those rare bras that helps lift and shape “the girls” without adding a bunch of bulky, unnecessary padding.
For Relaxing At Home: Wacoal How Perfect Full Figure Wirefree Bra
Wireless, unpadded, and with an unbelievably soft knit lining, this bra offers comfort and support in equal measure. The stretchy cups provide a custom “hug” that’s ideal for breasts that aren’t completely even (which most of us have!)
The stitched, faux-wrap front of this bra makes it feel stylish even when I’m just lounging at home. I wear this bra frequently at home when I want to be extra comfy (which, granted, is most of the time).
For Yard Work: Wacoal Keep Your Cool Full Figure Underwire Bra
There are three things I always wear whenever I head out to work on my garden or flower beds: sunscreen, my sun hat, and this bra. It’s made from thin, breathable fabric that allows for airflow that helps keep me cool on hot, sunny days.
It’s great to wear under t-shirts in warm weather, especially since it’s also unlined and seamless. This comfortable and breathable bra has proven itself indispensable when it comes to surviving the hottest of hot summer days around here.
For Working Out: Wacoal Brandi Sport Underwire Bra
This underwire sports bra is the most comfortable sports bra I have ever owned! It offers maximum support in a flattering style, and it’s made of soft, stretchy fabric that wicks away sweat to keep me feeling cool and dry (not to mention secure!) while I exercise.
But my favorite feature of this bra is that it clasps in the back. Trying to wrestle other sports bras on and off can be a workout in itself, so this one requires a lot less effort in that regard. This bra has become my go-to for any type of outdoor activity or exercise, from hiking in Utah’s great outdoors or doing simple resistance training at home (thank you, resistance bands).
For Extra Special Occasions: Wacoal Red Carpet Strapless Full-Busted Underwire Bra
Glamour magazine has named this one of the “Best Strapless Bras,” and I agree completely! While my schedule hasn’t exactly been overflowing with “red carpet” events this summer (or, you know, ever), it’s been handy to have this bra on hand for those tricky shirts with cutouts and wide or scoop necklines.
Thanks to this strapless bra, I can wear those tops without constantly worrying if my bra straps are showing. And unlike pretty much every other strapless bra I’ve tried in the past, this one actually stays put—no tugging or hoisting required. (It also comes with straps you can attach in several configurations, making it great for trips when you’re trying to pack light because it’s like multiple bras in one!)
