So I ran to The Store (yep, that’s the actual name of the place!) down the street from work to grab a sandwich and a Diet Coke for lunch the other day. We have this really wonderful new “general” store in town that carries some of the most unexpected things!
As I juggled my chicken salad wrap and my XL Diet Coke refill (they have that really great crushed ice there!)….I wandered past a small table with a display of home care products. They are made my the company Thymes and the fragrance was called Mandarin Coriander. At first I was attracted by the packaging. I have a “thing” for great package design. The colors, the typography, the bottles are all super cute! Secondly, I was attracted by the name….”Mandarin Coriander“??? Intriguing, if nothing else. Of course I had to find a place to set down my lunch and check out the testers. I must have spent 15 minutes just trying out and smelling all the products! It had the most unusual, but pleasant scent! Fresh, clean….two of my favorite scents. 🙂
Their website describes the fragrance as: a lively cacophony of cold-pressed mandarin, grapefruit, lemon balm and sweet orange peel. These vibrant citrus notes fuse with sweet marjoram, coriander, rosemary leaves for a soothing herbal zen. Behind these bold notes is a deep, cozy bed of Irish moss, Atlas cedarwood and ivy.
