[New!] One Good Thing Is Getting a Serious Upgrade

I’ve been working toward it for months and it's finally happening–One Good Thing is getting even better!

I’m thrilled to announce that something very exciting that will be arriving in your inbox from me next week. (The reason I’m so thrilled is because I’ve been dying to tell you all about it for months!)

So what’s coming?

It’s my brand new daily newsletter!

My new-and-improved newsletter will shorten the distance between you and the “one good thing” you love, deliver even more useful ideas for your home and life, and so much more!

What OGT Readers Are Saying About The New Newsletter:

  • “I could zip right through and then go back for more!”
  • “It’s very easy to read with a lot of good ideas.”
  • “Great assortment of articles. It feels so fresh and new!”
  • “So much good info in such an accessible format!”
  • “Where do I begin? I loved it all!”
  • So many interesting features. It’s a great read with so much to enjoy!”

In today’s post, I wanted to tell you about some of the exciting changes that are coming to the newsletter and why I’m making them. I will also attempt to answer any questions you might have about what’s going to be different and what’s staying the same.

It’s Time For A Change

As of this very month, I have been sharing my ideas on One Good Thing by Jillee every day for 10 years! And while I remain as committed as ever to providing you with “one good thing” a day, it feels like the right time to try a fresh approach to sharing useful ideas and practical tips with you.

Publishing a new post on my blog every day has allowed me to reach millions of readers, but the format’s limitations have prevented me from sharing all the ideas I’ve wanted to share with you. Transitioning to a new-and-improved newsletter format gives me the chance to share a wider variety of ideas in a more digestible way, and continue to grow this incredible community that inspires me every day!

What’s New-And-Improved?

Starting next Tuesday, my daily “one good thing” will be just the beginning, because each day’s newsletter will have multiple sections filled with useful advice, practical tips, and the household know-how that helps make your life easier.

My new newsletter will also give us the opportunity to interact more directly. Not only will I get to share more with you in each newsletter, but you’ll be able to share your thoughts with me—about the day’s newsletter or anything else—just by hitting “reply!”

A Whole New Look

The first thing you’re likely to notice about the emails you get from me moving forward is that they look a lot different! There will be a lot more for you to read in each one, but in shorter, more skimmable sections you can peruse at your own pace.

More To Learn And Enjoy

The largest section of the newsletter will be devoted to the “one good thing” of the day, but there will be plenty more for you to explore when you’re done with it! You’ll find more of the household tips and tricks you love, plus other stuff like upcoming events, daily inspiration, product recommendations, and more.

I’m also going to be trying out some new features too, so look for these in upcoming newsletters:

  • Weekly polls
  • Games and quizzes
  • Weekly motivation
  • Nostalgia
  • Reader highlights

Ultimately, I want the One Good Thing newsletter to give you a daily dose of useful ideas and positive energy that will help you start each day on the right foot!

More Personal

Another exciting aspect of the new newsletter is that it gives me the freedom to share more personal things than I’ve been able to on my blog alone. I’m looking forward to telling you what I’m up to at home, sharing interesting stuff I find online, giving sneak previews of upcoming tips, and including other personal updates!

Sponsorships

The new newsletters will occasionally be sponsored by brands I love and want you to know about. These brand partnerships will ensure that One Good Thing by Jillee remains free to you both as a blog and a newsletter. Sponsored content will always be clearly marked and feel right at home among the other “good things” in each newsletter.

What’s Staying The Same?

“One Good Thing” A Day

While the look and feel of the newsletter are changing, certain things will stay the same. For example, you’re still going to get my “one good thing” delivered to your inbox every day. (I’ve been doing this for 10 years after all, and I don’t plan on stopping any time soon!)

It’s Still Free

My website will stay the same as well, so you can still revisit your favorite posts from the past and check out the latest ones. You can also rest easy knowing that both my website and my email newsletter will continue to be available to you for free.

You’ll Get It Automatically

The last thing I wanted to point out that won’t be different is how you receive emails from me. If you’re already subscribed, you’ll start getting the new newsletter automatically, so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy!

Don’t Miss The First Newsletter!

Since I’m launching my new newsletter and celebrating the 10th anniversary of my blog at the same time, I knew I wanted to do something equally BIG to celebrate! Trust me, you’re not going to want to miss it. 🙂

I’ll give you all the details in the first newsletter, so keep your eyes on your inbox…

The first new-and-improved One Good Thing newsletter is coming your way on Tuesday, June 8th!
