This Is The Only Thing That Helps Me Sleep Without Feeling Groggy

You shouldn't have to settle for sleepless nights and groggy mornings. Get the inside scoop about my secret weapon for getting better sleep than I've had in years!

Author’s Note: This post, which was originally published in August 2019, has been freshly updated for accuracy! In addition to updates for clarity, it now includes details about some exciting new releases in my shop, including the brand new Slumber Roll-On and the updated Good Night Sleep Kit.

I often have trouble falling asleep, but I really don’t like taking sleeping pills or sleep aids if I can avoid it. They do help me fall asleep, but I hate the groggy, out-of-sorts feeling I always have when I wake up the next morning.

Essential oils have been a huge help to me in this regard, because they offer sleep-related benefits without the morning grogginess. Studies have shown that some essential oils (including lavender and marjoram in particular) can help improve both sleep quality and quality of life!

Both of those essential oils play a starring role in the essential oil blend that has become my trusty bedtime companion over the past few months. So today we’ll explore the various ways that Slumber essential oil blend can aid you in your quest for better sleep!

What Is Slumber Blend?

Slumber blend contains lavender, cedarwood, lime, bergamot, marjoram, and vetiver essential oils, all blended together in fractionated coconut oil. This earthy combination of oils can help relieve stress, promote peaceful feelings, and support a good night’s sleep!

I like to add a few drops to my diffuser at bedtime, but there are plenty of other great ways to use Slumber blend too! So let’s take a look at some of the best ways to use this blend here.

4 Ways To Use Slumber Essential Oil Blend For Better Sleep

1. In A Diffuser

Add a few drops of Slumber blend to your diffuser and start it up before turning in for the night. The relaxing scent will fill your bedroom to help both you and your partner get a good night’s sleep! But you don’t have to take my word for it—check out these reviews from my shop!

I have been using the Slumber blend every night with the diffuser I bought from Jillee, and I don’t think I’ve slept this good in years. It’s so calming and smells great!Jane
Three weeks ago I started using Slumber. I didn’t think it was making a difference until I forgot to turn the diffuser on one night. I won’t be making that mistake again! The oils helps me relax and fall asleep easily.Sherry

2. In A Roller Bottle

One of my favorite ways to use Slumber blend is to apply it to the bottoms of my feet at bedtime. The Slumber Blend Ready-To-Apply Roll-On makes it quick and easy, because it comes pre-diluted in a roller bottle so it’s ready to use!

If you’re more of a DIYer, you can make your own Slumber roll-on by adding 5-10 drops of Slumber blend to a glass roller bottle. Top it off with fractionated coconut oil (or whichever carrier oil you prefer), replace the roller top, and shake to mix.

3. In A Salve

If you dream of great sleep and softer, more moisturized feet, make your very own Sleep Salve! Simply follow this all-natural salve recipe, and add Slumber blend where it calls for essential oils.

Slather a generous amount of your finished Sleep Salve onto your feet before bedtime, then pull on a pair of socks. You’ll get some high-quality shut-eye and wake up with softer, smoother feet too!

4. In A Spray

You can also use Slumber blend to make a simple spray to mist over your bedding and pillows. This is a more subtle option that will still help promote sound sleep, making it a great option for children or people who are sensitive to strong scents.

To make your own Slumber spray, add 15 drops of the oil and 1 cup of distilled water to a small spray bottle. Replace the top and shake well to mix, then shake the bottle again before each use.
