Stocking & Organizing A Healthy Pantry

It’s been a long winter of eating too much “comfort food” and I have been making a serious effort to eat healthier the last few weeks. I once heard a nutritionist say that you have to make eating healthy just as easy as eating junk. I couldn’t agree more! I know that when my cabinets are full of easy-to-prepare, healthy ingredients I’m a lot more likely to cook nutritious meals rather than hitting a drive-through or ordering a pizza.

Today I’m making it easier for all of us to cook healthy meals with this extensive (printable) list of healthy pantry essentials (including gluten-free staples.)

Fill your pantry with these shelf basics, and you’ll have everything you need to make delicious, nutritious meals every night of the week!

Besides having the right things in my pantry I am all about having it organized as well! A couple of years ago I posted about a simple pantry makeover that I did. My main pantry organization pet peeve is boxes! And bags! And anything else that takes up too much room and makes the whole space looked disorganized.
