In my opinion, the more ways there are to use something, the more valuable that thing is. I’d much rather buy something I can use in multiple ways over a single-use item!

That’s one of my favorite things about essential oils—there are so many different things you can do and make with them! In today’s post, we’ll be exploring the many useful things you can do with one of my favorite essential oils for cleaning!

Simple Clean contains lemon, cedarwood, lemongrass, balsam fir, cypress, sweet orange, pine, and tea tree essential oils. With its combination of grease-cutting, purifying, and odor-eliminating properties, there’s no shortage of ways you can use it to keep your home clean!

To help demonstrate my point, here are 7 different ways to keep things clean with the help of this oil blend! 🙂

7 Practical Uses For Simple Clean Essential Oil Blend

1. All-Purpose Cleaning Spray

Add the following ingredients to a 16-ounce spray bottle:

• 20 drops Simple Clean Essential Oil Blend
• 1 tsp borax
• 1/2 tsp washing soda
• 1 tsp castile soap
• 2 cups warm water

Replace the spray top and shake to combine. Use your finished spray to wipe down surfaces around the house!

2. Hand Sanitizer

Add the following ingredients to a small pump bottle or squeeze container:

• 40 drops Simple Clean Essential Oil Blend
• 2 Tbsp aloe vera gel
• 2 Tbsp distilled water

Replace the top of your bottle and shake to combine. Use like hand sanitizer to keep hands clean on the go!

3. “Goo Gone” Residue Remover

Apply Simple Clean oil blend directly to a sticker, label, or sticker residue. Let it sit there for a few minutes, then scrape away the loosened residue.

This works especially well on glass and ceramic!

4. Carpet Refreshing Powder

Combine the following ingredients in a container with a shaker lid:

• 1/2 cup borax
• 1/2 cup baking soda
• 30 drops Simple Clean Essential Oil Blend

Shake to mix, then sprinkle the powder over areas of carpeting that could use some freshening up. Let the powder sit for 20 minutes, then vacuum it up.

This powder is also great for freshening up mattresses! Follow the same instructions outlined above to remove moisture and mustiness from your mattress.

5. Foaming Hand Soap

Add the following ingredients to a foaming hand soap bottle:

• 15 drops Simple Clean Essential Oil Blend
• 2 Tbsp castile soap
• 2 tsp fractionated coconut oil
• 3/4 cup water

Replace the top of the bottle and shake gently to mix. This foaming hand soap will leave your hands feeling clean without drying them out!

6. Linen Spray & Fabric Refresher

Add the following ingredients to a small spray bottle:

• 10 drops Simple Clean Essential Oil Blend
• 2 Tbsp rubbing alcohol, witch hazel, or vodka
• 6 Tbsp distilled water

Replace the spray top and shake the bottle to mix. Spritz over bedding, towels, curtains, throw pillows, upholstery, and more to infuse them with a light and fresh scent!

7. Reusable Cleaning Wipes

Add the following ingredients to a large mason jar:

• 20 drops Simple Clean Essential Oil Blend
• 1 Tbsp dish soap
• 2 cups warm water

Put a lid on the jar and shake well to combine the cleaning solution. Remove the lid and fill the jar with clean rags, then replace the lid and tilt the jar around to saturate the rags.

Use your finished wipes to wipe down surfaces and clean up messes. When you’ve used all of the wipes, just wash them and repeat the steps above to make another batch!
